Five years ago today, I went to the store and purchased a Trek 7100 with the intention of biking to work. That's when everything changed..
Within a few weeks, I was biking to work every day. Within a few months, the 7100 got stolen and in the rebound depression I realized that I had to suck it and buy a replacement because biking every day felt SO DAMN GOOD.
Since then, lost fat in places I didn't realize I have fat (e.g. foot fat. WTF?!), I've done some awesome long-distance bike rides, and I don't really drive very much anymore. We're a one-car household.
